After a day and a half of testimony, the Pike County Circuit Court granted a directed verdict in a case where Representative David Myers’ seat in the Mississippi Legislature had been challenged by his primary opponent from three years ago.

After the trial, Baria-Jones attorney Brandon Jones said, “I am happy that Representative Myers can now turn his full attention to his constituents and his service as a member of the National Guard.”
