Our own Brandon Jones was a guest columnist for the Clarion-Ledger on September 19, 2018, when he penned an op-ed focused on the fact that Governor Phil Bryant and members of his political party had celebrated the passage of a bill to disburse funds collected from BP after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill without inviting the Attorney General, Jim Hood, who Jones writes was instrumental in getting the funds from BP in the first place.

“While Republican leadership often seems all too eager to turn over its lunch money to corporate bullies, General Hood has consistently stood up for Mississippi’s interests regardless of the size or influence of the adversary,” Jones wrote.
